Work Related Learning
Year 11 pupils attend a two-week work placement in the autumn term.
Parents are invited to a briefing in which the process of placement is discussed and an opportunity given to suggest a personal placement within the family’s circle of friends and relatives. If this is not possible then our school will source a placement which is local to the home address to maximise the experience of independent travel, where possible.
Many of our pupils leave with a very positive commendation from their employers and the experience is very enriching.
